TrakRap Wins National Award

TrakRap is celebrating success after winning an award at a prestigious national awards ceremony.

The TrakRap Packaging System took home the Innovation award at the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) Awards 2018 at a ceremony in London. Hosted by restaurant critic and food journalist Jay Rayner, the awards celebrate the achievements of those working in the UK’s food and drink manufacturing industry.

The TrakRap Packaging System combines our energy efficient stretch wrapping machinery with specially designed, ultra-thin stretch film and innovative pack designs to provide 100% recyclable secondary packaging solutions for manufacturers of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) supplying supermarkets and retailers.

The Food and Drink Federation Awards recognise companies in the food and drink industry that have made significant achievements in the fields of product research and/or development.

TrakRap was praised for the technological advancements we have made to our packaging machines over the last three years, which include designing them to be Industry 4.0-enabled so that they can continually learn and develop, allowing them to minimise waste and increase production speeds.

Martin Leeming, CEO of TrakRap, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the Innovation award by the FDF. It further enhances our reputation as a leader in the field of sustainable secondary packaging in the UK and emphasises how important our commitment to continually investing in our machinery to ensure it remains at the forefront of cutting-edge packaging innovations has been.”
