We’ll be on the road again next week, as our CEO, Martin Leeming, has been invited to take part in the prestigious Manufacturing Innovation Summit in Liverpool on Wednesday 20th.

Taking place at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre, the Summit brings manufacturing executives together and provides them with the perfect opportunity to discuss issues relating to the future of the industry. Martin will be co-hosting a series of round-table events on the subject of ‘Getting Finance to Match Your International Ambitions’ alongside a representative from UK Export Finance. Together, they will look at the different ways of funding innovation and exports.

Martin will also take part in a panel discussion concerning the ways organisations can sustain innovation. Other topics under the spotlight on the day will include: digital manufacturing; factories of the future; the utilisation of smart technologies; and hyper-personalisation.

Ahead of the event, Martin said: “I honestly don’t believe there’s ever been a more exciting time to be involved in UK manufacturing, so i’m looking forward to taking part in the Manufacturing Innovation Summit 2018. Innovation is essential for the ongoing success of every manufacturer - and the entire manufacturing industry - and I can’t wait to talk about the role our packaging machinery can play in that, as well as discussing all things simulation.”
